Junior Graphic Designer

Description

marlo marketing/communications seeks an experienced Junior Designer for our Creative Services division. This is a full-time, on-site position in our Boston office.

YOU:
• Have a strong ability to creatively, strategically and efficiently approach projects from start (concept sketches/layouts), to production (client revisions), to preparation (final art files), to finish (vendor coordination)
• Are equally able to design a killer website, as you are a fantastic logo, a unique piece of collateral, or an eye-catching advertisement
• Understand the value of brand consistency (both design AND messaging) across all media
• Possess strong typography skills
• Are able to develop creative solutions on your own, but you desire to grow with the constructive guidance of the Creative Director and Principal
• Manage your time appropriately by adhering to project budgets/deadlines and utilizing internal time-tracking software

MUST HAVE:
• BFA in Graphic Design
• 3-5 years of post-college experience, preferably in an agency environment
• Ability to think creatively, strategically and tactically
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac
• Solid skills in the print and website preparation process
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Working knowledge of editing/customizing HTML, CSS, WordPress, email marketing templates and social media sites

NICE TO HAVE:
• Copywriting skills
• Understanding of general marketing and/or public relations
