Serve Enterprise provides cutting edge technological services in alternative payments in an innovative payment processing platform, payment card network, and new consumer payment solutions to the Enterprise Growth division of American Express. Serve is expanding it's in-house design capabilities and is looking for a UX designer to drive a best in class experience for our users. The team has an immediate need for a full time UX designer who can support the addition of new features to the serve platform by generating high-quality deliverables to meet the aggressive schedules our team is targeting. This role is critical to the progress of the platform and in improving the quality of the features we're delivering to our users.
Qualifications:
This person must be an excellent hands on designer who can create the deliverables that move a cross functional team through a collaborative design process. This will include developing user stories, concept sketching, experience storyboards, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, design research, and usability. Our team is process driven and dedicated to bringing user centered perspective into the development conversation by way of design excellence. The ideal candidate for our team has a great sensitivity to all types of design, creates high-quality deliverables, embraces process, enjoys their work in a way that an entire team can appreciate, is open and inclusive in their working style, and will be a fantastic ambassador for design throughout the American Express organization.
Developing user stories, concept sketching, experience storyboards, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, design research, and ensuring usability.
Agency experience is preferred.
Education requirement:
Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Fine Arts or related field is desired.
